What governs the agreement between us?
All services are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the SECP regulations for SMC-Private Limited companies.

When does a contract officially start?
The contract begins upon the receipt of the initial payment or a signed Service Level Agreement (SLA).

What are the payment terms?
Standard terms are 50% upfront and 50% upon project completion, unless otherwise specified in your quote.

Who owns the Intellectual Property (IP)?
Upon full payment, ownership of custom-developed code is transferred to the client, while SoftquoTient retains rights to proprietary internal tools.

Is there a Late Payment Fee?
Invoices unpaid for over 30 days may incur a late fee of 2% per month.

Can SoftquoTient terminate a service?
We reserve the right to suspend services in cases of non-payment or violation of ethical usage policies.

What is the limitation of liability?
SoftquoTient is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., lost profits) resulting from system downtime.

How are disputes resolved?
Disputes are first settled through amicable negotiation at our Karachi office. If unresolved, they proceed to arbitration in Karachi.

Can I transfer my service to another party?
Service contracts are non-transferable without written consent from SoftquoTient management.
